What does it truly mean to lead with heart?
In this episode, we sit down with Sonya Martin, accomplished Executive Coach with extensive experience leading Leadership Development for major corporations, including DISH and Lululemon. She is a published author, dynamic speaker, and former grade school teacher.
In this conversation, we explore the powerful truth: real leadership is heart-centered leadership. We talk about what it means to truly see people, that development comes from make others feel valued, not as a tactic, but as a way of being. This is the kind of leadership that builds trust, loyalty, and culture in and outside of the office.
Together, we explore:
• Why leadership is really soul work
• How nervous system regulation shapes leadership
• The connection between personal wellness and sustainable leadership
• Why self-awareness and self-responsibility are foundational to leading others
• How leading with heart creates both performance and belonging
Through our work with corporate leaders in The Wildly Aligned Leader, we’ve witnessed that the strongest teams are led by individuals who prioritize their own alignment — physically, emotionally, and mentally.
When a leader is regulated, grounded, and clear, that stability ripples outward. Leadership isn’t about pushing harder. It’s about leading from wholeness.

What if you stopped judging where you are and started understanding the season you’re in? In this episode, we explore the wisdom of Personal Year Numbers and how they help us work with life’s natural rhythms instead of pushing against them. Personal Year Numbers are part of a repeating nine-year cycle, with each year carrying a distinct theme—from new beginnings and growth to reflection, healing, and release. We begin by breaking down what a Personal Year Number is, how the nine-year cycle works, and why 2026 carries the collective energy of a 1 year, a time of initiation, fresh starts, and new directions. We also share a simple way to calculate your own Personal Year Number so you can begin working with this practice immediately. How to calculate your Personal Year Number: Add your birth month + birth day + the digits of the current year (2+0+2+6), then reduce the total to a single digit (1–9). Example: March 12 → 3 + 12 + 10 = 25 → 2 + 5 = 7. Each Personal Year carries its own invitation: • 1 — New beginnings, leadership, fresh starts • 2 — Patience, relationships, emotional awareness • 3 — Creativity, expression, joy, connection • 4 — Foundations, structure, discipline, stability • 5 — Change, freedom, movement, expansion • 6 — Responsibility, home, healing, care for others • 7 — Reflection, inner work, spiritual growth • 8 — Power, abundance, achievement, authority • 9 — Completion, release, forgiveness, endings We’re then joined by our client Amanda, who shares her lived experience working with Personal Year Numbers year over year and how this practice has shaped her decisions, softened self-judgment, and helped her trust the unfolding of her life. This conversation is about honoring cycles, releasing hustle culture, and learning to meet yourself with more compassion and clarity, right where you are. ✨ Perfect for anyone navigating change, craving alignment, or wanting to live with greater intention and trust in their own timing.

In a world that praises clarity, certainty, and five-year plans, sitting in the unknown can feel unsettling. But what if this in-between space is exactly where the magic happens?
In this episode, we explore the beauty of uncertainty and the sacred pause between what was and what will be. We’ll talk about why the unknown feels so uncomfortable, how to reframe it as a fertile space for growth, and ways to soften into trust when clarity hasn’t yet arrived.
Through soulful reflections, nature-inspired wisdom, and practical tools, you’ll learn how to shift from fear to faith, from “I’m lost” to “I’m becoming.” Whether you’re between jobs, in a life transition, or simply sensing change on the horizon, this conversation will remind you: you don’t have to know what’s next to be exactly where you’re meant to be.
